Best Pickup Truck of 2016

Cars.com and PickupTrucks.com named the 2016 Titan as “Best Pickup Truck of 2016.” Huge praises rang in with judges noting, “We especially like the new interior and well-defined trim packages, which include a new, versatile off-road package that has the ground clearance and gear ratios to make it a strong player in the world of dirt and rock while at the same time remaining a comfy daily driver.”

Truck of Texas

Texas Auto Writers Association named the Titan its “Truck of Texas” after a grueling evaluation. In addition to taking home the top award, the Titan XD was also named Luxury Pickup Truck of Texas, Off-Road Pickup Truck of Texas and Best Powertrain for the Cummins 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel Engine. The Titan XD was noted for its strong performance - a combination of its 310 horsepower engine, maximum towing capacity of 12,000 lbs and 555 lb-ft.

2016 Truck of the Year

AutoGuide.com editors chose the new Titan as their 2016 Truck of the Year. The all-new pickup impressed with its “robust towing capabilities, clever features and strong diesel engine.” The Titan XD hit a sweet spot with the judges by combining smart features with the comfort of a half-ton truck with confidence of a heavy-duty truck.
