2016 Titan production has kicked off and before we know it, the new Titan will be arriving at our Nissan dealership in Rosenberg. Our team at Gillman Nissan Fort Bend has been eagerly following the Titan Truckumentary as Nissan maps out its history and development. If you haven’t been following along, check out our blog to get caught up first!
This week we’re delving into the seventh chapter of the Truckumentary, which happens to be our favorite thus far. The TITAN Truckumentary chapter 7 is titled “Truck Love,” something we here at Gillman Nissan know a little (okay a lot) about.
There’s no denying that truck owners are a passionate bunch and brand loyalty runs very deep. Nissan Titan drivers are a diverse group, but they all chose the Titan for the same reasons. The Titan is dependable, powerful, unique, and a great value. And, the new 2016 Titan is completely American made.
What do we love most about the 2016 Titan in Rosenberg, Houston, Sugar Land, Katy, Richmond and Stafford?
Innovative and versatile truck bed - The 2016 Titan truck bed features an Utili-track cargo system, LED bed lights and a 120-volt power outlet. These tools help you work harder and smarter to get the job done.
Powerful and responsive engine - Rising far above any truck engine before it, the Cummins Turbo Diesel was designed exclusively for the new TITAN XD. The 5.0L V8 has 555 lb-ft of torque, and when combined with a high-strength steel frame and incredible chassis, the Titan can tow up to 12,300 lbs.
Spacious, smart, and flexible interior layout - By rearranging the traditional layout of the console and center stack, the 2016 Titan has more storage space and better driver reachability. The rear seats transform between seating for three, a handy workbench, lockable under-seat storage bins, to a flat loading floor.
