The 2018 Nissan Murano is in its third generation, which was introduced in 2015. The exterior still has the same design that Nissan aficionados fell in love with when the third generation debuted, mixing a modern sleek look while still staying true to the brand’s history. The powertrain still combines a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an Xtronic CVT.
The interior of the 2018 Nissan Murano is where we start to really see the new and exciting features. There are key safety technologies like Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collison Warning are now standard on all trim levels. The center console has gone through a redesign and now has a more ergonomic layout and includes an 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen that gives access to Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® in addition to navigation. Adaptive cruise control and the hands-free power liftgate also are now standard features.
While we have seen some of the optional features before, like the all-wheel drive for example. The SV Premium Package offers a drowsy driver alert system, adaptive cruise control, Around View Monitor, and an 11-speaker Bose sound system. The SL trim can be optioned with a moonroof package and/or an expanded Midnight Edition package.
