Traveling during the holidays often involves the transport of treats and food. We want to remind you from all of us here at Gillman Nissan Fort Bend that it is important to make sure that the food you bring is secure and will arrive at your destination in one piece.
Take the extra time to secure your food items with a seatbelt or have a passenger hold onto them until you arrive. This may be more ideal if the drive is not a long one. If you are transporting warm food items and want them to arrive warm, be sure to use insulated bags or containers. You can purchase insulated food containers or make one out of a cardboard box and towels. Both work well. Be sure to also drive carefully, especially when you take turns and corners. You want to make sure that your food doesn't go flying when you drive. Drive safe, take it slow, and enjoy the start of another magical holiday season.
