Celebrating the reveal of the new 2016 Nissan Titan in Houston, our team at Gillman Nissan of Fort Bend is excited to share the Nissan Titan Truckumentary. Through a series of short videos, Nissan tells the story of the next-generation full-size pickup truck’s development.
By going behind the scenes of the development and production of the Nissan Titan, you'll come to appreciate the craftsmanship and heritage of this All-American made truck. To affirm its place as a true truck maker, the Truckumentary begins by taking you through Nissan’s truck history.
While many may connect Nissan’s heritage to iconic sports cars like the 240Z, but Nissan's true beginning was with pickup trucks. One the first vehicles sold in the United States by Nissan was the 1960 Datsun 1200, a humble yet beautiful and capable truck. Over time, Nissan began to develop vehicles with unmatched durability and off-road capabilities as well as high-performance level racing vehicles. Today, the 2016 Nissan Titan has been engineered to combine the best of Nissan's strengths - design with functionality, power and durability.
The Nissan Titan development team recognized how demanding truck owners can be of their truck. Listening to customer's stories and needs, the Titan was built to handle everything - from hauling cargo to off-roading to high-level towing.

From the design team to engineering to the test center and manufacturing, Nissan focused on quality and giving the customer what they want when developing the Titan. All aspects of the vehicle were centered around development in the U.S. - the center of truck expertise.
Throughout this development process, Nissan product specialists took the time to listen to pickup truck drivers to learn what they like most about their trucks. Then, they took time to innovate and improve upon those features.
Our team will continue to provide updates of the 2016 Nissan Titan's features as they become available. Visit our blog for the latest news!
