Houston Restaurant Weeks is in full swing and if you haven't participated in this year's event, you are really missing out! Our team at Gillman Nissan in Rosenberg loves Restaurant Weeks as an opportunity to take a taste tour of the town while also contributing to the Houston Food Bank.
Houston Restaurant Week is the largest annual fundraiser for America's largest food bank. 100% of funds raised are donated to the Houston Food Bank. The Houston Food Bank has been recognized at Feeding America's "Food Bank of the Year" and feeds more than 800,000 individuals every year.
For a 3-4 course dinner at the price of $35, 15 meals are generated by the food bank through the restaurants' $5 donation.
The HRW meals are offered until September 7, 2015. To participate you need only do the following from the Houston Restaurant Weeks' website:
Check the the restaurant to see if they require reservations or will accept walk-ins. If reservations are required by your selected restaurant, please make your reservations by calling or emailing the restaurant.
When making your reservations, be sure to tell them that you would like the Houston Restaurant Weeks special menu. This will let the restaurant know to make a donation to the Food Bank from the proceeds of your meal.
Pay your check at the end of the meal, just like any other dining experience. The restaurant will make a donation to the Houston Food Bank based upon the price of your meal
