Our team at the Nissan dealership is thankful for the opportunity to serve the communities of Rosenberg, Houston, Katy, Stafford and Sugar Land with new and used Nissan vehicles as well as the best selection of advice and information about cars.
Last week on our blog, we talked about the best back to school cars from Nissan. Our team at Gillman Nissan of Fort Bend knows a lot of time and effort goes into preparing for the new school year. With school starting soon, shopping for school supplies,
finishing summer reading and organizing are in full effect.
In dedication to back to school, our team has a few car organization tips to help you and your students get off to a great start:
Eliminating the mess and declutter your car. Go through all the nooks and crannies and take out the trash! Then find a small trash bin to keep in your car, which you empty regularly.
Deep clean the car. Focus especially on heavily used areas like the floor carpets, seats, consoles and cupholders.
Organize the trunk. Out of sight, out of mind? It’s easy to let items pile up in the back of the car. Take time to clear out your trunk of anything you haven’t used within the last two weeks except your emergency kit.
Buy a bottle of cleaning wipes. Does your car seem to be a magnet for crumbs, spills and dust? Wipes are great for quickly cleaning up little messes.
File the important papers in your glovebox. Be sure to keep all essential information like your registration, insurance, emergency numbers, receipts, contacts as well as medical information.
Use plastic baskets for storage centers. Create an entertainment hub with books and toys for children and keep small random items like snacks, drinks and a first aid kit handy.
By taking the time to utilize these car organization tips, you'll be better prepared to take on the new school year!
