The Altima was completely redesigned in 2013 so it doesn't have any major exterior changes, but it does have new standard features. The 3.5 SV and 2.5 SL models now come standard with the Technology package. The Technology package includes navigation, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and moving object detection. A new standard for the 4-cylinder and V6 SV and SL models is automatic climate control and an eight-way power driver seat.
Though more standard features have been added to two of the models, the price of the Altima only slightly increased. The 2015 2.5 S model is actually lower than last years' base price. You can always rely on Nissan to be innovative, yet affordable.
There was an increase in fuel economy for the 2015 V6 models. 1 mile per gallon may not seem like a lot, but it all counts when you don’t have to spend as much at the pump. They now get up to 32 mpg on the highway and a combined 26 mpg.
