The highly anticipated redesign of the 2016 Nissan Titan finally made its debut at the National American International Auto Show in Detroit and as it was anticipated, its new design did not disappoint.

The new Titan was designed to be "warrior of warriors" after the design team decided to incorporate the name into the model. Nissan decided to develop a new class of truck. One that has the hauling and towing capacity of a heavy-duty truck but offers the fuel efficiency of a half-ton truck - the Titan XD.  

It is powered by a 310 horsepower Cummins 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel engine that offers 555 lb-ft of torque and will offer a maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds. A V-8 gas engine will also be offered in the Titan XD.
