We understand how overwhelming the car-buying process can be. At Gillman Nissan, we've looked at two commonly compared sedans: the Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry. We studied power, efficiency, technology, and safety assets on both models. When you stop by our Texas, Nissan dealership we think you'll be impressed by the Nissan Altima and you may decide it's the right new midsize car for you.

The 2019 Nissan Altima

The all-new 2019 Nissan Altima offers a plethora of options and five main trim levels to choose from. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine, but there is also an available turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. While front-wheel drive comes on all models, the Nissan Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system is an option with the standard engine. This system not only provides capabilities on all terrains, but it also offers best-in-class fuel economy. The Nissan Altima also utilizes a CVT transmission with the turbocharged engine that allows you to seamlessly shift between gears without sacrificing fuel efficiency.

This impressive sedan also boasts major technology features including navigation, Bluetooth™ streaming audio, voice recognition, and so much more. Ask our Nissan dealers near Sugar Land for details.

2019 Toyota Camry

The Nissan Altima is often compared to another model in its class, the Toyota Camry.

The Toyota Camry is also available in five main trim levels including the Toyota Camry L, Toyota Camry LE, Toyota Camry SE, Toyota Camry XSE, and Toyota Camry XLE. The Toyota Camry does edge out the Nissan Altima on horsepower but they are matched on torque giving them the same get-up-and-go.

The Toyota Camry has similar infotainment system features, although they don't come standard on the base model like they do on the base trim of the Nissan Altima. A Bird's-Eye View camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Remote Connect are all available at an additional cost.
