Stacey Gillman Wimbish- President of The Gillman Companies.
In her current role as President of the Gillman Companies, Stacey Gillman
Wimbish is responsible for overseeing all phases of the business, improving
organization profits, refining operational systems, employee satisfaction, and
achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Stacey attended
school in Houston and completed her education at the University of Texas in
Austin. She then attended the Marketing Educational Services Dealer Management
Development course for in-depth study of the General Motors accounting system
and financial statements. She is also a graduate of the National Automobile
Dealers Association Dealer Candidate Academy. This intensive program combines
formal classes and actual in-dealership experience.
As the daughter and
granddaughter of highly successful automobile dealers, Stacey was raised in the
business. Stacey began her retail automobile career at age 22 and has
personally worked in every position in every department. She simultaneously
held the Finance Director position of Gillman Companies and became President and
Partner of Gillman Lincoln-Mercury-Mitsubishi and Gillman Subaru, then moved to
the position of Assistant Chief Operating Officer of The Gillman Companies. She
has also served as Vice-President of Gillman Companies, where she was
responsible for increasing market share of vehicle sales for all 18 Gillman
dealerships
In 2010, Stacey was designated by Automotive News as
one of the "100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry". In
1999, she became the first woman, and the youngest person, to be named Chairman
of the Houston Automobile Dealers Association. She has also served as a
Director, the Secretary-Treasurer, and Vice-Chairman of that organization. For
the past several years, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the
Texas Automobile Dealers Association and has sat on the Mitsubishi Motor Sales
of America National and Regional Dealer Advisory Board.
Stacey maintains
memberships of the Subaru of America Dealer Advisory Board, the Mitsubishi
Motors North America National Dealer Council, Mitsubishi of North America
Regional Advisory Board, Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America Advisory Board,
Ford Credit National Advisory Board, AIADA - AFIT Ambassador, NADA DEAC South
Texas Chairman, Texas Automobile Dealers Association Board of Directors and
Legislative Committee, Houston Automobile Dealers Association where she held the
Director position for thirteen years and became the first woman HADA Chairman in
2003. She has served and continues to serve her dealer peers through posts with
the Houston Automobile Dealers Associations. She is the 2011 Chairman Elect of
the Texas Automobile Dealers Associations and will assume the role of
Association Chairman for 2012 .
Stacey is also admired for her community
contributions, including an annual fund-raising effort for the Fort Bend Women's
Center with the Gillman Companies, which is dedicated to assisting women and
children of abuse and supporting them in getting back on their feet. Other
civic involvement includes The American Diabetes Association, and The Houston
Livestock Show & Rodeo Committee. She is also actively involved with St.
Lukes United Methodist Church where she has served on the Board of Stewards,
Finance Committee and Long-Term Goal Committee. Her service to charitable
causes and participation in civic activities has positively reinforced the image
of automobile dealers across America.
Married, she resides with her
husband and two children in Houston. She enjoys volunteering at her childrens'
school and participating in the kid's activities including being a Girl Scout
Brownie Leader, Cub Scouts and her son's baseball team.
Jason Gillman- Executive Vice President of the Gillman Companies
Jason Gillman was born in Houston, Texas. He is an Executive Vice President of
The Gillman Companies and member of the Gillman Companies Board of
Directors.
Jason is the third generation of a family that has been deeply
involved in the retail automobile business for more than six decades. At 14, he
began working in the Gillman Pontiac dealership during summer vacation. After
starting at the wash rack, he spent the next few years gaining experience in
various departments before moving into sales.
He then attended Texas Tech
University and earned a degree in Automotive Marketing from Northwood
University, where he was named a Dean's List student. Additional academic and
hands-on experience was gained by graduating from the General Motors Dealer
Academy and successfully completing the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy. In 1992,
he assumed his first managerial role in a dealership.
Since that time, he
has been General Manager of a Gillman Honda facility. Under his leadership, that
location attained the prestigious Honda President's Award as one of the top 50
Honda dealerships in the nation in terms of sales and customer satisfaction. In
another role, Jason assumed full control of the organization's total used
vehicle inventory. Today, utilizing his broad base of retail automobile
experience, he holds executive responsibility as a member of The Gillman
Companies' upper management team.
Jason serves and is part of the Board
of Directors of the San Antonio Area Automobile Dealers Association for 2011.
Jason has also been active in retail automobile dealership public affairs,
serving as Chairman of the Texas Automobile Dealers Association TEAM Committee.
He has also been a member of the Dealer Election Action Committee, a member of
the Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America Dealer Advisory Board, and is recognized
for his community service.
Married, Jason resides in San Antonio with his wife and son.
Chris Gillman- Executive Vice President of the Gillman Companies
Chris Gillman is a native Houstonian. In addition to completing his studies at Northwood University, majoring in Automotive Marketing, he is also a graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Association Dealership Management Academy.
Chris was literally raised in the retail automobile business, taking his first job in the Honda parts department shortly after his 14th birthday. He has been both a new vehicle and used vehicle sales manager, a service advisor, and is skilled in parts warehouse as well as wholesale operations. He is also experienced in the areas of dealership accounting, billing, vehicle titles, finance and insurance.
Chris serves as the Houston Area Director of the Texas Auto Dealers Association and is a current Board Member of the Houston Area Dealers Association for 2011.
Chris is an accomplished skier and enjoys hunting, golf, and fishing. Chris resides in Houston.
Patrick York is Chief Operating Officer of the Gillman Companies.
Effective May 15, 2008, Patrick York assumed the duties of Chief Operating Officer of the Gillman Companies. Patrick is responsible for the overall performance of all Gillman Dealerships.
The son of an automobile dealer who once sold vehicles at Frank Gillman Pontiac, York grew up working in various dealership departments and for the Texas Automobile Dealers Association. Most recently York served as Vice President of Marketing for Service Group, an organization providing training and dealer profit programs to automobile dealerships. In this role, he was actively involved for over nine years with the Gillman Companies.
Patrick completed his scholastic education with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas in San Antonio. He is a graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Association Dealer Academy and is a Certified Mentor with the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals.
Married, he is residing in Houston with his wife and two children.

The son of a pioneer automobile dealer, he began his automotive career working in the parts department of his father's Pontiac dealership in downtown Houston. After attending the General Motors Dealer Management Institute and other specialized schools, he became an authorized dealer in 1967.
Gillman served as the Director of South Texas for the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) from 1989 through 1999 and was elected as President of NADA in 1997. During his years as a Director, Gillman was a member of the NADA Industry Relations Committee, the NADA Regulatory Affairs Committee and was Chairman of the NADA Government Relations Committee in 1993 and in 1999. Currently, Gillman serves as a Trustee for the NADA Charitable Foundation and for the NADA Dealers Election Action Committee.
He has also served as President of the Houston Automobile Dealers Association, Vice President of the Texas Automobile Dealers Association, and was appointed Vice Chairman of the Texas Motor Vehicle Commission from 1984 through 1987 by the Governor of Texas. He currently serves as a director of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles as appointed by the Governor of Texas and serves though February of 2013.
Ramsay received the 1996 Sports Illustrated All-Star Dealer Award, presented by the American International Automobile Dealers Association, for his lifelong contribution to the automotive business and commitment to numerous charitable organizations.
In 1997, the State of Texas House of Representatives passed House Resolution No. 350, officially commending Gillman for his "outstanding achievements" and years of dedication to the State of Texas, the automobile industry, his community, and charitable organizations.
For his many years of continued support, the Sickle Cell Association of the Texas Gulf Coast awarded Gillman their Humanitarian Award for the year 2000. Ramsay and his wife, Stevie, were co-chairpersons for the Sickle Cell Association of the Texas Gulf Coast 2001 Gala. Mr. & Mrs. Gillman are also active participants and sponsors of the Tracey Lawrence Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Other charitable organizations that receive support from the Gillman family include the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Youth Scholarship Program, the Fort Bend County Women's Center, which provides shelter for abused women and their children, the Earning by Learning Program, which rewards young children for reading books, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
